Fashion Week Started in New York Autumn-Winter 2012-2013

FEBRUARY 9th AT NEW YORK FASHION WEEK kicked off Autumn-Winter 2012-2013.

From the first impressions of designer collections for fall-winter 2012-2013 in New York today launched a new season Fashion Week.

This week their new collections for next season will show DKNY, BCBG, Jason Wu, Rag & Bone, Yigal Azrouel, Prabal Gurung, Alexander Wang, Altuzarra, Victoria Beckham, Derek Lam, Preen, Diane von Furstenberg, Thakoon, Tommy Hilfiger and others well-known fashion brands.

The first shows of Fashion Week in New York is available at our website under “Fashion”.

Incidentally, the first Fashion Week in New York was held in 1943 and became the world’s first fashion week. Thus, the organizers wanted to divert media attention from French fashion during World War II, when fashion experts could not travel to Paris for the shows. Now the New York Fashion Week is known as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York.
