Scarlett Johansson was born November 22, 1984 in New York. Her father, a native of Denmark, he worked in Manhattan in the construction industry, and her mother brought up the children. Scarlett was named in honor of “Gone with the Wind”, which is – Scarlett O’Hara. She did not have any relationship to the movies or the theater,her introduction to the world of showbiz has happened quite by accident. Scarlett’s mother strongly supported her desire to become an actress – in particular, she decided to join a University of theater at the Lee Strasberg Department for gifted children. While studying there from 8 to 11 years, Scarlett succeeded, and soon began playing small roles on stage. Within six months of training at the Department for Children, she was transferred to the adult actors exchange.

In 1994 she was offered a small role in the movie “North” by Rob Reiner.Next big movie was  ”Home Alone 3” where she played the hero’s older sister Alex Linz, who came to replace Macaulay Culkin in the sequel to the popular comedy. Scarlett is currently one of the most talented and sought-after actresses in Hollywood. In the next couple of years, her schedule is already painted in full.
